I cant seem to be able to acquire a scared mamemon by degenerating it and digivolving it. How do i get one?

Im playing Dusk and pick the balance pack. I'm searching solid opinion for leveling up strong digimon. I know that degenarate them rise aptitude but, do I need to rise there level complete then degenerate? That im trying to do but, i desperate so quickly, I want to digivolve them faster. I do it this way for adquire techniques available. Im looking solid opinion too of farm. What good are the most important to get first. I manage to by first digi food but, then what can be the second, third... important goods to get? Or I need first get more memory first and dpu (or vice-versa)?
